UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon “Bones” Jones will headline UFC 239 with a title defense against the number three contender Thiago “Marreta” Santos de Lima. Bones is a leader in the JW practice room and is eager to showcase his skills in what will be his second title defense of the year.
Holly “The Preacher's Daughter” Holm is looking to regain the Women's Bantamweight title in the co-main event against Amanda “The Lioness” Nunez. Holm is easily considered one of the hardest working fighters in the gym and is determinedly training to bring the title back to Albuquerque.
Longtime UFC veteran, and JW trailblazer, Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez will also be fighting that night. He is taking on fellow welterweight contender Michael “Maverick” Chiesa. Diego inspires all in the gym with his self-determination and is a true model of fighting spirit. Notable for his fan friendly performances, earning fight of the night and fight of the year honors on multiple occasions, Nightmare is committed to prove that he is in consideration for a shot at the welterweight title.
UFC 239 is looking like an exhibit for Jackson Wink MMA Academy to demonstrate their superiority in the MMA world. It would be hard to find any better athletes than these three to do the job.
